OK I am bored so I played around with Photoshop & some pics & now I have these. Which one do you think is better?

Do you think I should tone down the "Umberness" a bit?

Both looks good. How about trying to add something on the image like torns on side, etc.

I like that idea but I can't do it because:
1) I'm no Photoshop expert so I can't manipulate pics to that extent
2) This vehicle doesn't have skirts or any metal part on its sides that can be torn up
3) The wheel well can be damaged but even if it gets damaged, you won't see it in the picture anyway.
4) It's a recovery vehicle. The type of vehicle most unlikely to get banged up. (Although it COULD happen, we'll never know) :-) :-)

I' m not talking about the model, I was refering to the image. Sample nito yung mga photos na punit na yung sides because of aging. Ask your parents for pictures of their youth and you'll see what I mean by the damaged and old photos.

Hey Fritz,

Looking good, I prefer the second one- B&W. Great background!! Did you use the noise filter ? try playing around with the filter.

Well, I don't really know how to do that in photoshop except if I print this one, burn the sides w/ lighter or simply tear it up & then scan it & post it again, yeah, I guess I could....... #:-) #:-) #:-) #:-)

The background was googled under the search name "muddy road"......
creative search name right? #:-)
I did use the noise filter, along with the blur filter, & then the film grain filter, & so on........
I-----LOVE-------FILTERS................. #:-) #:-)

Cool Fritz! :-) Masmaganda ang B&W. The other is a bit too American Civil War-ish.

BTW, I just could not resist, sorry. Hehehehe Click Me! The reason why Germany lost the war.

The first picture's color style is called sepia. It's was often used for studio pictures and older box cameras.

WWII cameras would have produced results like, well, the second picture.

BTW, kudos to Fritz in this picture. The main reason this pic actually worked was that the light source of the background is coherent to the light source of the model. Something a lot of image manipulators get wrong the first time.

Magaling talaga itong batang 'to.

Hahaha!!!! nice spoof! I just couldn't make out that spot on the right. Is that a sniper or an AT guy? (or maybe another) but I can surely make out Marvin the Martian!

Fritz: That guy at the right is this.

As for the font, I suggest use a typrewriter-looking font.

So it was YOU who is responsible for this latest virus outbreak!

10-page hand-written draft term paper? Why in our days, we used to do it with a feather pen.... WITH OUR FEET!

You are not alone Comrade Fritz. I have to do 500+ cases to digest, 250 of which to be submitted a week before finals (i.e. first week of this March). Yep, I'm doomed.

Me? Wish I could manage to do that using only "for loop", "do loop" and "while loop" statements.... #:-)

Things are getting busy again...Ti's Science Week dito sa UST....And we spend most of the day explaining Physics principles to wide-eyed first year HS students - kahit na CS kami...Waaaa... #:-)
