Now that we are 10 days out, yes, that's 10 days before the 2016 AMPS International Show and the 2016 Show Committee wanted to drop last reminders and latest intel scoop before wheels and modeling thoughts turn toward Sumter:
Pre-registration - AMPS pre-registration officially closes midnight March 31st. Pre-registering allows modelers to fill out entry forms in the comfort of their own home (or modeling bunker) and allows the modeler more time to carefully look over each entry to make sure all the work is listed on the entry forms for the judges. Besides, you want to hit that vendor room as soon as you get there; not fool around with paperwork!
Raffle donations - If you have new or pretty close to new models you would like to add to the pretty awesome and (armor) world renowned AMPS raffle, feel free to bring them to the show and give them directly to Rebecca Hettmansperger, our fantastic AMPS Raffle Coordinator.
Call for Judges - It's no secret that AMPS always needs judges to volunteer their time to help peer review fellow modelers' entries. Volunteering two complete judging shifts earns you the coveted AMPS Crew Member tee shirt for free and hey, you get a chance to get up close and personal with many fantastic armor entries from all skill levels.
Visit the AMPS homepage often - sometimes things change with little notice; many times beyond the Show Committee's control. But all attempts have been made to have the most up-to-date show information and schedules posted for all to access.
Latest field intel report!!!!! If you are one of the unfortunate ones who, for whatever reason, cannot make it to the show, visit the AMPS homepage as there will be a link dedicated to uploading show entries and various pics of this year's show all weekend long.
