Now that the seminar schedule is posted those of you who were waiting to sign for judging shifts are in the prime position to make you shift selections.

Sign up is very easy. This year, we are using SignUp Genius as a tool to sign up our judging teams. Using this tool is a painless process which requires you to sign in using the following URL: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f044da9a822a2f85-amps . This URL will take you directly to the AMPS 2016 judging schedule page where you can select the shifts and judging positions (i.e., Table Captain, Field Judge or Runner) you’d like. Once you submit your selections, you’ll then be asked to sign in using a SignUp Genius account or Facebook. If you don’t have a SignUp Genius account there are instructions on the sign in page to establish one. PLEASE NOTE: establishing a SignUp Genius account is free and does not subject you to a load of spam.

Additionally, this year we are using SignUp Genius to sign up our Diorama and Vignette judging teams. You should use the following URL if you are interested in joining the Diorama and Vignette team: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f044da9a822a2f85-diorama .

Once you’ve completed the sign-in process you’ll receive a copy of your schedule and a reminder of your schedule approximately 3 days before the event. SignUp Genius also gives you the ability to change your schedule if something comes up and you’re not able to make your selected time.

If you plan to participate as a volunteer judge, you should attend the judge’s training session conducted in the Rose Room at the Sumter County Civic Center on Friday, 8 April at 8:00 AM. The purpose of this training is to help judges become familiar with the AMPS judging process, and sign up for judging shifts. We will be serving donuts and coffee at this meet. For those not able to attend the Friday judges meeting, let me know via e-mail and we can work out different arrangements. We are also planning a Diorama and Vignette judges training session in the Rose Room at the Sumter County Civic Center on Friday, 8 April at 9:30 AM.

This is a quick reminder that the 2016 International Convention pre-registration ends on 31 March 2016. Pre-registration allows you to enter your models on Thursday, 7 April 2016 starting at 5:00 PM. To pre-register, check out registration link on the AMPS web-site today!
