*breathe slowly....*
Okay. I finished my camo job on my Hurricane. I let it dry out for two days. Then in preparation for the decals, I applied a light coat of Future to the entire plane.
And it dried all SPLOTCHY! Looks like waterdamage on wood! This is model #4 for me, and I have NEVER had this problem before... I thought another coat might fix the spots that were blotchy, but nope. Didn't work.
I'm afraid I've ruined my model... HELP!

Don't panic. Rubbing alcohol dissolves even dried Future, so provided you haven't added any laquer on top of it, you should be able to take a rag or cotton ball soaked in alcohol and gently scrub it off.
Did you perhaps try to thin the Future with water? That can sometimes produce weird results.

if you can not solve the problem; build a diorama on Hurricane Maintenance... you can cover the damaged areas with tissue paper and a few tools on them and some figures...if you decide that we can talk more details

Strange !! hey you know what I would do??....Throw on another light coat ..apply the decals ...another coat of future and the flat coat it back to normal and I bet this will all just dissappear...if not just use it to your advantage in the weathering stage ...

Tried rubbing alcohol... It took off the future... and the 2 coats of paint beneath. *doh* Well, I'm going to try a new batch of Future (applied with a brush as always) and hope for the best. Otherwise,I'll be removing all the paint and redoing the camo job...

you can also just strip off the paint and future and try again. i use a product sold in hobby stores called 'easy lift off'. that will strip it to the plastic without harming the plastic. just watch weak glue joints, because it will dissolve them. also you can use e-z off oven cleaner, just take precautions on exposed skin.
