dear all,
where the oil and fuel barrels during ww2 always OD or were they also yellow-red- yellow painted (Shell example givin).
I would like to add some color to truck loads.

Sorry Paul but unless you paint some drums rust, they're all OD. All the oil companies shipped their product in OD 55 gallon drums.

If they were US-made, OD is fine. Obviously not all nations were in that logistics train though, so you might want to specify which one to increase the relevance of your answers.
