If you wait until November to vote, you'll miss your chance. I'm speaking of casting your vote for AMPS Officers, of course.
The following positions are currently open for nominations:
1VP - Currently held by Chuck Aleshire
2VP Canada - Currently held by Chuck Rothman
2VP South - Currently held by Mike Petty
2VP Northwest - Combined with 2VP West Joe Bevans
Secretary - Currently held by Mark Corbett
Visit the Elections Discussion Group for nominations of any ACTIVE AMPS member for the positions mentioned. You may self nominate or nominate those who have an interest in running, but make sure they know you are nominating them before submitting their name.
Note: All of the current incumbents, except the 2VP Northwest/West position, have indicated a desire to run again for the office they currently hold, However, the positions are open for anyone who has a desire to run for election. The 2VP Northwest/West position is open and needs a some to fill that position.
Voting begins on 1 March and ends on 15 March. In order to cast a vote. you must be an active member (dues paid at the time of voting) to hold an officer position and to vote.
Visit amps-armor.org for voting, the most current AMPS product reviews and AMPS 2016 Show news. And don't forget; AMPS 2016 Show pre-registration is open until March 31st.
With about 40 days to go before show time, now would be a good time to get excited for a fantastic weekend filled with armor models, great seminar speakers and the legendary AMPS vendor room.
