The AMPS 2016 International Show is less than 2 months away and counting down. As many may know, this year's show is being held April 7-9, 2016, in wonderful Sumter, South Carolina. This year's show theme is "The Great War". With all the new WW I kits that have come out in recent years, this show will host the largest model display of these oversized behoemeoths in one event this year.
As with all AMPS international and regional shows, hitting the vendor area and walking back to the car with an armload of plastic and resin, is a time-honored tradition. To help keep tradition strong, the AMPS show committee has worked very hard in securing a variety of different vendors to the show; many who are old favorites and now some new ones with wares to tempt any modeler.
Below is our current list of vendors who will be at the show:
Archer Fine Transfers
CRM Hobbies
David Doyle
Tiger Productions Diorama Products
Dr. Mike’s Glue
Challenger N Scale
Hard Target Models
New Tiger Model Designs
Gene Bagnoli
RJ Wargames
Jane’s tools
Tank Video.com
Wannamaker Hobbies
Freetime Hobbies
Micro World Games 1
Visit the AMPS homepage at amps-armor.org for directions, lodging locations and other helpful show related news items. Show pre-registration on the AMPS site is open until March 31st. This option provides a great opportunity to get the paperwork out of the way ahead of time with no waiting in lines.
So, get those entries finished up, sock some cash away and get psyched for the largest gathering of armor modelers under one roof this year.
Cheers!

I would add to Chuck's announcement, above, that as of January, the vendors he listed have reserved about 60 total tables...
Several of these vendors are quite large and will have a huge presence at the 2016 AMPS I-Con.
For instance, Micro Games World has so many tables that they are literally filling one of the vendor rooms just for themselves.
We also have a number of other vendors already lined up that haven't been listed yet pending final determination of the number of tables they want, etc. So, this is just preliminary, "teaser" information.
In addition to the vendors, we'll also have over 10 hours of seminar presentations, spread over the 2-1/2 days of the convention, already lined up.
Links to latest information on the 2016 AMPS International Convention can be found below. We’ll also have the latest convention flyer with floor-plans and a detailed, day-by-day detailed schedule uploaded to both sites soon.
Visit the AMPS Homepage for basic info, then follow the links to the convention pages for details and pre-registration-

I'll look forward to meeting some of my Armorama friends in Sumter this April!
'Til then, Happy Modeling!
