Need advice on displaying models in my hobby room as to not have them covered in dust. I'm thinking about glass display cases but, these are too expensive. I am also a woodworker and the equipment to make just about anything. I want some sort of case where I can display several models. Each model has a wooden base.

Help.

If glass is too expensive you could use clear acrylic sheet to make a tank or even a wooden framed tank that will fit over a base of any size.

Yeah the Ikea ones are good and cheap but they do still let in dust and need a clean every so often.

Go for acrylic cases -- lighter and definitely cheaper than glass. No dust on the model whatsoever. Cheers
