Hi All,
I am looking to buy small dia. drills 1.0 to 0.5 mm. I recall seeing a post here about some drills that came from Russia that worked well. Are they still available? I have checked several sites & e-bay but no luck.
Regards,

Vernon,

Just remember that Peter's drill bits are FLEXIBLE, so the thin ones are hard to drill with.

I've also bought Carbide Micro Drill Bits used to PC Boards from this guy:

DrillBitsUnlimited.com

They are great for using with your fingers except the really small ones, smaller than a #95, are VERY easy to break.

If your still struggling to find small drills let me know. I have some high quality drills in my boxes at work down to about .15mm. I can get smaller if you need & Id be happy to give you my suppliers details.

If you need anything smaller still I was involved in designing and manufacturing some jigs and fixtures for a company that could drill holes 3microns (0.003mm) in size thru most materials. End component was dash components for a high end car manufacture that looked like solid metal yet light could shine thru with no holes apparent to the naked eye.
