Came across this German series on Netflix. It shows a group of 5 friends through the war years. Exceptionally good TV.

I've seen it some weeks ago. Amazing! a deep and diverse perspective with respect to the one we are used to. Harsh and effective when it deals with war in all its brutality and pretty realistic.

Loved this programme. Didn't portray the ordinary German as being good or bad, just human beings.

I actually have it on dvd.I picked it up at a AMPS show in danbury Ct. what a great film! I pick it up 2 years ago and have watched it 6 times!
A must have for any WWII movie collector.
