After we agreed on pricing, i made payment via Paypal. Three weeks went by without communication, i followed up with both email accounts and received a refund without any explanation.

I was supposed to trade kits. I was told to expect a tracking number, but have had no reply when asked. It must be assumed that the deal fell through.

Nope.
We agreed on a trade and he got my end of the trade on the 11th. I've got a couple of PMs from him with excuses but no kit. Last I heard from him was the 22nd.

I worked out a trade with him back in early 2013 when he was posting here as "Ballarmor54." It took a long time, and a post here asking if he was going to complete our trade, before he finally sent the kits he had agreed to trade.

I would not deal with him again, especially when I saw he had changed his posting name.

Bill K. warned me of the member - thanks for looking out!

Looks like most of the posts are trade offers, quite indiscriminate too - plenty of red flags there.

No problem Sir.
This whole model thing is supposed to be fun and relaxing, so I'm happy to be able to spare my modelling brethren, and sisterin, the aggravation of getting stiffed by an un-ethical person.

After reading all of this, I'm glad I didn't get a response from him.

Probably should make this thread a "stickie" seeing how many people have had an issue, to warn others.

Seems I fell in the trap
Thanks all for your report.
When starting my post, I was just asking and my final opinion wasn't made up yet.
I now know where he stands.
At least, it's good to know that I might have prevent others...

I totally agree. I have traded or given away more items than I have sold and even then, didn't want to make a profit.

Too bad some have been taken but hope this serves as warning to others.

After reading these comments I revisited my trades and I was wrong - I got two offers, but those fell through. It's been awhile so I cannot remember the reasoning.

This is a shame that someone is low enough to target folks trying to enjoy a hobby!

Sorry for my initial incorrect post.

Nope! Reached a trade agreement with him in Dec 2015. Sent my 2 kits, which he received on Dec 26 & he has not sent the kit I traded him for. Said on Dec 26 he was waiting on his wife to give him the tracking #. Which I never received. He has ignored the pm's & txt's I have sent him since receiving my kits. So beware.
