Ola People
Somebody in the dutch forum asked something and in answer I made a small drawing for him and I thought it would just be usefull for you guys that don`t know the trick. It`s a trick to use the Xacto for Seams and woodstructure. I learned it from Shep Paine and I made a newer diagram of it and it will be part of the Illustrated Beginners Encyclopedia (IBE)
Here it is I hope it is of some use to some of you:

That's the method I used to get this:
The kit's ammo crate was terrible, and scribing with an x-acto blade to add or to improve the existing wood grain was a must!

Jeff... thanks. That is my Soviet 120mm M-1938/43 Mortar from Italeri/Zvesda in 1/35th scale. I added 58 additional parts, just to the ammo crate, to include the two rope handles that are made from Amati ship rigging.

Ola guys
Thanks for the feedback.
Mastertyno.
At the moment there is not really a place online besides my gallery where the IBE is located. At this moment there are only 2 IBE sheets and more are in progress I soon get Help and then there will be more sheets made. It will also be divided in sections like: Stuff to do with the Xacto, Glue, Scratching with aluminum foil etc.
The first two sheets can be found herein my gallery:

I hope you guys like it and more will be posted in the future
