If anybody out there has built the d9r then you're probably aware that the tracks that come with the model don't fit right unless you do some sort of modification. Has anybody used the aftermarket tracks by Friulmodels? If so do they fit right or do you still have to modify the arm bar so that the tracks are tight and not sagging?

I used the kit tracks and didn't have any problems. What issues have people had?

The issue is that out of the box tracks sag too much. It is not a problem to build the model with them, it just doesn't look right.

Patrick, do yourself two huge favors. First, don't go the way of using the Friulmodel metal tracks. There expensive and tons of work. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend using " Easy Metal Links" they make a set for the Meng D9R Bulldozer(EML-35-007) and the only place I've found that you can get them is from Historex Agent. I just ordered a set of the Easy Metal Links for a panzer IV and there's no clean up and there super fast to put together! I ordered mine set about a month ago and it took about a week to arrive from England. With purchasing and the shipping is less than what you play for the Friulmodel ones. Hope this helps.

Tony, do yourself one huge favor, add the letter "s" in your link, just before the dot.
