I’m buying a used large scale (1:20) Accucraft Plymouth, but it’s a bright yellow, and I’d like it to have a more industrial working look. I’ll attach an image of the engine (actually a more pale yellow than what I'm getting), as well as another one that is close to what I’m looking for. I want it to have the peeling paint look, and it’s well known that military modelers are way ahead of model railroaders in terms of getting realistic finishes. This is a brass engine, and I suspect the stock paint is baked-on enamel. I realize there are some masking challenges.
