Hi folks I am heading down to old Fort Sill soon and was wondering how is taking Pictures at the base allowed or not,don't want them MPs beating me in the street . I was stationed their in the 80's. But with all this stuff going on wonder if I email somebody at base and ask. They have all the Artillery and stuff Hemett and Hummers you could Imagine don't remember no Abrams but some avlbs .

Best bet is to contact them to see if they still allow visitors on post. I think they do: http://sill-www.army.mil/.

I was also stationed there in the '80s. With a chinook unit.

My brother was stationed there in teh late 70s. He had nothing good to say about it

Gee, that's the only real fun I had when I was an SP - other than the occassional Lieutenant going down spread-Eagle on the flightline for "breaking red"...

I postponed the visit until latter when weather cools down a little Oldlady did not want to walk around in the heat
