Has anyone used these tools?

I own a pin vise with various drill bits (I think it was an Excel Blades product). But I find it hard to work with thick plastic and resin pieces. The Tamiya looks about right.

The G Tool router looks interesting as I bought a bunch of resin kits and want to get a powered grinding tool to help remove pour plugs.

What brand or model of powered rotary tools are good?

There seems to be many kinds available on Amazon.ca priced between $30- $40 Canadian dollars. Canadian Tire also has some good prices and come with accessories. The Dremel brand is very famous but very expensive.

I know the desirable features are variable speed and flexible shaft extension. I want a device with AC power rather than built in rechargeable battery because it will cut down the weight. Besides, the batteries eventually degrade if you don't use them often.

I purchased the Mr Hobby Cordless Router Pro 2 model and sort of regret it as it does not come with any accessories. The saving grace of this device is the light weight and smaller size. I waiting for the device to come in the mail.
