You should PM Peter/Efedrin, i have the drill #4 in set 2, When I say I have, I mean I have ordered of course.

Did a lot of searching. Found the drills, they are Dental drills, which don't take away from their qualities, as long as they are the real thing. Since me, I intend to use them in Plastic/Resin, I do not foresee trouble drilling through these materials.

You have to know beforehand that Peter/Efedrin's email address is not the one you'll pay for the drills. Again, it doesn't mean a thing but I emailed that address and asked for an ETA for shipping, no answer but it's the weekend and I have no life and I am here 24 hours/day.

Sometimes I forget that peoples do NOT spend the same amount of time waiting for emails to appear.

I received them, sent by registered mail in an envelope, 7 drills, tried 1 of them, the first, purple and wow, it went through the middle part of an Evergreen H-Column #287 1/4" (.250) like it was a hot knife in cold butter.

You can make almost microscopic hole or larger if you drill as far as the color.

You really can bend them like he has shown in the other photos.

I am very much happy with this, they really seem indestructible for plastic and styrene and ABS. I didn't try them in other material. Yet!

My sets finally showed up today. Came in a Russian looking envelope with Russian pictures and stamps. I got 2 gifts along with my order. One is I got an extra .02 (Yellow) drill bit and the other is a Ukrainian 1 hryvnia bill which kind of threw me there for a bit. Spent some time googling that one. That did not look like a Ruble. I included a pic. Sort of a novelty for me. I did mark out Efedrin's address. I am sure he did not want that plastered all over the internet

You have more than two gifts Robbie. the 3 round disks are either sanding disks or saws. Install them on the Dremel bits with a screw on top.

I received my order yesterday in the mail. The envelope, similar to the one pictured by Robbie, contained the following:

One Set 1 Drill Bits (0.1-purple, 0.15-white, 0.2-yellow, 0.25-red).

+ one 0.30 or 0.35 Drill Bit, green (Peter's pictures of Set 2 & Set 3 have the blue and green banded bits switched).

+ one 0.30 Pick Tip (I can use this as a center mark to start the drill bits).

+ one 0.35 Broach (for cleaning or enlarging holes).

+ 10 Ruble bill (using a currency converter, this is about $0.13 USD).

The smallest bits are more flexible and harder to start drilling a hole with, so the center mark tool will become useful. I also am thinking of using a short piece of tubing to make the tapered bit more stiff for drilling smaller holes.

Peter provided excellent communication via e-mails, and even offered to send a replacement set of bits if the first package hadn't shown up by next week. Even though he provided a tracking number with the Russian Mail System, it unfortunately stopped updating once it arrived in the USA.

All in all, these drill bits are an EXCELLENT value for the money along with the bonus gifts from Peter, and I recommend them without reservation.

Hi Jeff, I am truly happy that all is Okay. The ruble bill is not for the value, it's more like a souvenir of Russia. I received a 50 Ruble bill myself, which I put immediately in a plastic envelope to keep it in the perfect condition it arrived.

An update to my earlier posts.

These bits will likely work best for enlarging smaller holes as opposed to actually creating new holes. They can be used to drill new holes, but their flexible shafts can make it difficult to start a hole where you want it.

Peter sent in my set a "Center Marking" tool, which looks like the other dental drill bits but has no fluting, and is solid, which makes it a taper shaft needle.

I tested it to make a center mark, and then tried some of the smaller bits, and it seemed to help them "bite" and start.

The smallest diameter bits seemed too flexible and hard to keep straight when trying to start drilling a hole. I thought I'd try using piece of metal tubing as a "stiffener" that's short enough to let a few mm of the tip stick out but holds the rest of the drill bit shaft to prevent the flexing.

Due to the taper of the drill bits, I did a test using a couple "stepped" small diameter metal tubes (copper & aluminum) inserted into each other and then those slid over the end of the dental drill bits. The OD of the smaller tube was a press fit into the ID of the larger tube.

For the finest size I have (0.1 mm) the tubes could be "loose" on the drill flutes (not jammed on tight), with only about 3 mm of the tip of the bit exposed. This allowed me to start drilling a hole much easier than without the tubes supporting the drill bit. The bits were turned with my finger tips.

In my opinion, these dental drill bits don't drill holes as easily as standard drill bits, but they do NOT break like fine carbon steel bits will. I've already broken a couple #94+ size bits due to just a slight amount of twisting the bit relative to the bit's axial center line. The dental drill bits don't cut a new hole well, but are much more forgiving in how they are used, along with that you can use them as a reamer or hole enlarger.

Using a very fine pin tip to center mark a hole location is recommended with the dental drill bits. That's also true for regular drill bits, too.
