Folks,
I need some help-- I have the Dragon Sherman M4A2 Late PTO, which looks a lot like the Dragon M4A3 Sherman. Can this model be modified and built as one of the M4A3 Sherman's in the 716th Tank Battalion in the Philippines in January 1945? In my references I can't tell the EXTERNAL difference between a late M4A2 and the M4A3 of late 1944-- is there any?

Hi sir,
They use different engine. You can tell from the engine deck. M4A3 has a bigger grille. M4A2 has no access door on the back and M4A3 has one access door.
Cheers
Ken
