Ok guys, I have another dealing warning for ya. Also, if I should be putting this into the Good/Bad trader thread just tell me and then I'll have this deleted and move the content over.

Once again this is also off a couple Facebook Buy/Sell/Trade pages. The culprit's name (one of many), as last known to me, is Dean Car. Again he has made deals but not followed through on many of them. He would make good on some deals in the beginning to build up confidence and then start failing to make good. He is actually wanted by the police for these very actions.

Here is the police report as posted on Facebook:

Wanted for: Obtaining goods by false pretenses
Wanted by: Summerville Police Department
Wanted since: Oct. 19, 2010

Investigators allege: The defendant received $1,576 in checks and money orders as payment for items purchased from him online. He failed to return either items or money to victims. Affiant met with the defendant, who provided a written statement outlining his receiving payments from countless victims for model kits he advertised online that he did not have and utilizing the funds for purposes other than their intent.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of these suspects may call the Summerville Police Department at (843) 851-4100. Crime tips can also be sent to Crime Stoppers by phone at 554-1111, by text message at CRIMES or 274637 (start the message with TIPCSL) or on the web at www.5541111.com"

He also apparently has warrants in Arizona and California. Plus, he may also be filing insurance claims for items which the recipients were supposed to receive but didn't.

This man is in North Carolina. If you have dealt with him you can contact the North Carolina attorney general and file a complaint.

Again, I just wanted to put this out here to warn anyone who might wander into a dealing with this man. Take care out there guys and girls.

Wow,is this guy still around.He has been popping up on all the different modeling sites selling forums for years.I remember several years ago before the Britmoddeller sale forum enacted strict rules he even popped up there.I guess he has found a new outlet through social media.

Glad you posted this here and not in the "Good/Bad" thread. I would have never seen it there. Shame that a picture of the guy is not available, too.

He was banned on a FaceBook page recently.
