I was going to make resin copies of the tamiya LRDG truck, i made one half of the mold and then put it aside, for doing somthing else. the wheel and tire did not touche the RTV, they were just sitting there waitng for me to pour the other half. when i came back to it after a week or so i noticed that the tire has sterted to melt around the wheel and it also started to conform itself onto a piece of lego brick it was placed against.
looks like i need to hurry and finish the mold, and cast double amount also to replace the kit parts.

It seems some types of rubber when exposed to some types of Unpainted plastic have a cemical reaction causing the rubber to melt.... #:-) #:-) #:-) #:-)
