My local airshow, as SWMBO was working we weren't there this year. Easy to speculate on the cause, but I'd rather wait for the Air Accident Investigation people to report (they're on site now).
Already got people screaming for airshows to be banned, but in reality shows in the UK are some of the safest anywhere
As always when something like this occurs, thinking of those involved.
