Hello All,
I hope this is the proper discussion group for this topic.
I'd like to get some help/info on what 1/35 kits could be used to model U.S. armor from the Korean and Viet Nam Wars.
For example I know that Tamiya kits of the M 48, M 113's, M 577 could be used [for Viet Nam], but what about Tamiya's M 41?
Would the Italeri M 26 have been used in Korea. Dragon's M 46 would work for the Korean War, but what about the M 26 [T 26]?
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks & God Bless You,
Joe

AFV Club do the M42 Duster. Dragon offers a new M48A3. The Tamiya kits you mention should be good for Vietnam. I think AFV club offers an M41 that works, and is better detailed/more accurate. For the M26, HobbyBoss offer a version but I don't recall if that or the Tamiya kit was more accurate for Korea. Bronco does an M24 that is good for Korea.

Hi Russ,
Thanks for your response. I appreciate the list of kits you've included. I knew about the newer Dragon M 48 and the A.F.V Club M 41 and M 42, but I'd stick with the Tamiya kits because of cost and my modeling skills.
I see also that I made a mistake in that I meant to say Italeri M 24 not M 26.
God Bless You,
Joe
