Hi, todas my trusty 25 liter compressor start to leak at the bottom .it's possible to fix it with a metal screw and some adhesive as poxipol or araldite?.
It's safe ?. I will buy another's one ASAP. Biut I have a model half painted.

I have done that. Also used band clamps and rubber gasket.

I don't know what compressor/tank combo you have, but the best way is to replace the tank. I've used tanks from W W Grainger, but other industrial supply houses have them as well. Beats buying a whole system when you can get just the tank and swap out the wheels, compressor and such. Cheaper too. Just need to drain down the tank more frequently so it doesn't rust out the bottom.

Hi Eugene, I follow your advice and fix the compressor. I drain it once a year but seems that I must do it often.
I load the tank with half of the max pressure and now don't leak.

It will later on . Consider welding the hole ? It might be lot of trouble to take the tank to a welding shop but might not be a bad idea in the long run .

For my part, I wouldn't risk adding more shrapnel to a potential catastrophic failure. Safer just to replace the tank. Make sure you drain it regularly, especially if you live in an area where the air is damp and/or salty.

Don't put a lot of faith in patch jobs. Get through what you need done and replace the tank as soon as possible. Drain the tank at least once a week, especially if, as Mark mentions, you live in a high humid climate.
