Hi, I'm getting back into the hobby after a very long layoff. I dabbled in many genres but WWII armor and aircraft were always my favorites and that's what I plan to focus on now. Marrying a Calgary girl has also piqued my interest in Canadian military subjects.
One more thing, despite all the fun I had throughout my youth, I was never, ever any good at it and I want to change that. Glad to be here!

Welcome to Armorama John. I am sure that you will like it here.
Don't worry about your skill level. We have everything from first timers to very experienced modelers here. The main thing to remember is to enjoy yourself with the hobby and not worry about others skill levels. If you want feedback and comments on your projects just say so and there are several very helpful people here that will be glad to help out and offer advice. If you ever need help with anything, looking for kits, spare parts, etcetera don't ever hesitate to ask.
Enjoy.
Randy

Welcome, and hello from Sparta. You're going to enjoy this site, the people on here are cool and down to earth. The knowledge on here is almost limitless and everyone is glad to help, too. Personally, I've learned a lot and improved my skill thanks to what I've seen here. So have fun, bro and model on!

Welcome to Kit Maker John!
I am originally from Caldwell.
I remember shooting against Union High in rifle team back in the 70's. Yes those were the days, You could wear your shooting jacket school and put you gun in its case in your locker and no one would even flinch and our range was under a near by elementary school.
James Caldwell HS, Best shooting team in the 70's!!!
I also got back into modeling about 10 years ago now and was not very good at the time but learning from others on the web and in our group has allowed me to keep getting better so don't worry about, come and have some fun....
