Just a quick question to those Jeep experts out there:
I have a Skybow M38 Jeep which I am keen to depict with a canopy; would, for example, the Italeri (standard) Jeep canopy fit? I believe that the Italeri model is the only kit that has a canopy in any case - of course I might be wrong there.
In any case, I'd be grateful for your views. If there's no mileage in this then any advice on scratch building would be gratefully received - not least regarding scale drawings.
Thanks - in advance (!)

No, the Italeri, or any other AM canopy for a WWII Willys MB or Ford GPW will not fit the Skybow or AFV Club M38A1. The M38A1 was larger (wider and longer body, taller windshield) than a WWII Willys/Ford jeep. I don't know of any AM company that makes a top for the M38A1.

Can only find this one right now, don't know if it is what you are looking for:

If and how would the Skybow Jeep compare to AFV Club? Might be interesting to know that the 1:1 thing was once produced in Rotterdam, The Netherlands

The above top at eBay is for a WWII era Willys MB, not the M38A1 or Willys MC.
The AFV Club and Skybow M38A1 are the same kit. AFV Club bought out Skybow and re-labeled their kits. Both are excellent.
