The Vietnam era hand held grenade launcher was the M79.

Bravo 6 has a running USMC M79 Gunner from Tet '68...

...and an Army figure kneeling firing an M79.

Verlinden also has a seated M79 gunner...

and a running M79 gunner.

Dragon has a few in plastic too.

Last guy on left in Seal set, reloading.

Kneeling guy reloading in Marine Recon.

Kneeling guy in 1 CAV set

Kneeling guy on radio in USMC Khe Sanh set.

Master Box includes an M79 as an optional weapon in the Vietnam Jungle Patrol kit...

as does their Patroling figure set.

That last Masterbox set doesn't come with a 79. The grenadier's weapon is an M16A2 w M203 (I know right?), you can see from the brass deflector on the side of the rifle.

See below:

Gotta also love the great box art showing the Officer/NCO with an XM-177E2 (CAR-15), but the kit gives you a horrendous looking M16A1 with 30rnd mag. Masterbox....

Yes, I know the M203 is included. I could have sworn it also included an M79 as an additional weapon. Looking at the sprues though, it doesn't, so diregard that one.

By the way, the M203 was used on the M16A1, but only very late and in limited numbers in Vietnam. It was not even fielded until late in '69 in the US Army. An M79 would be more appropriate.
