Hello everyone,
I'm just back from vacation in Cleveland Ohio, and one of the places I visited was MAPS Air Museum, which is located in North Canton, about 40 miles from Cleveland itself. They have a Hanger full of aircraft, and a lot of planes out on the tarmac. I'll be posting some photo's once I get them sorted, but anyways here is a teaser.
Its me sitting in the Pilots seat of a C-47 Skytrain, otherwise known as a Dakota. The plane is set up to allow visitors to climb on in and look it over inside and out. This is something you really don't get the option to do all that often and I took advantage of it..
anyways I just thought I'd share some of my vacation photos.. (I took 1300 at the Air Museum alone)..
I also got to sit in a Mig-17, an OH-58A Kiowa and an AH-1 Cobra Helicopter. What a fun Day.
More photos to come as soon as I get a Photo article ready..
Delbert

Very nice. I'll bet that was fun. My goal is to jump one - probably in the PI.

Cool. Thank you for sharing Delbert. Did you get a feeling of "A Bridge Too Far"??
Thanks,
