By now most of us have heard of the passing of Sir Christopher Lee. To some of us he was Dracula in the Hammer Horror films. To others he was Saruman in Lord of the Rings. He served in the British Military during WWII and to this date much of what he did is classified.
He spoke multiple languages and was even into heavy metal rock music.

He was a cool guy.
Talking of Saruman and his wartime service, I have heard it said that when rehearsing the scene when Grima Wormtongue murders Saruman, Jackson asked Lee to try to imagine the look and sound of a man being stabbed in the back. Lee responded that he didn't have to imagine it, he'd seen it!
It would be interesting to learn more about his service.
