Hello!

I'm 21, my name is Nicolas, I'm from the good old France and I'm passionate in military history, especially the WWII.

I want to begin to build and paint WWII vehicles models in 1/35, and i feel like i'm gonna need some advices !

Welcome to Armorama, Nicolas! Don't hesitate to ask anything you want. You will find plenty of helpful people here. Do you have any experience with modeling? Is there something you are thinking of starting with?

Hey thanks guys !

I don't have a real experience. A long time ago (something like 6 years ago maybe) I mounted models, but i wasn't painting them, it was my father. So i have a very little experience on mounting the model, but not really for the painting !

I don't really know what I want to do first. I was thinking of something like a WWII armored car or wheeled vehicle (because i think tracked vehicles are harder to paint). Maybe a SDKFZ 222 or 231. The scale would be 1/35

Bonjour du Québec Nicolas. I won't be of any help about WW2 but what I can do well is translation lol.

It's an awesome place, you'll get tons of infos.

Au plaisir de se rencontrer dans certains sous-forums.

Tamiya kits would be a good starting place. Instructions are simple and the kits go together well. They offer several armored car models that you will enjoy.
