I've noticed something peculiar over the past three years, I didn't notice them before, but who are the hidden users on this site, and what is their purpose, just out of curiosity? Cheers.

I think it's up to the individual to choose who gets hidden? At the bottom of your page there should be an 'unhide all' tab, try that?

The 'hidden users' are normally bots scanning the sight for link information, ie Google, Bing, Yahoo. It is how those sites keep there search links up to date. The bots scan and record keywords to storing in their search databases.
