I'm on my third kit, I'm doing a lot of work on the interior and want it to be visible. Did the version have windows that could be opened? Or should I glue the door in the open position?
Any and all advice welcome.

The windows on the M1025 slide down into the lower portions of the doors completely.

The Tamiya M1025 Armament Carrier kit is one of my all time favorite kits. Here is a link to a set of M1025R1 Armament Carrier 'walk-around' photos on my website www.hmmwvinscale.com
The vehicle in the photos is basically the same vehicle as the base model M1025 but has an upgraded engine, suspension and a rear bumper.
The windows on the M1025 basic armor doors have 3 possible positions....All of the way up, half way down, all of the way down. My photos show the windows in each position.
The Eduard M1025 photo-etch set includes the details to construct the interior door and window frame details.
This site is a good reference too. It is in the Polish language. http://www.humvee-models.com/
