Were the fast attack transports used in the early Pacific campaigns to transport the Marines old 4 stack destoryers from W.W.1 ? And does any company make a plastic kit of them that would include any refits for the job? I have a dio that I am planning and would like to include a transport ship model to show what they looked like above the dio. as a support to the complete story. Any help would be appriciated here.

Revell did a kit of HMS Campelltown, which was one of the classes used, but at 1:240 scale it's a bit small for a diorama...
