Hi guys
I want to share this work in progress picture of Dargon's KPZ-70, or MBT-70 as it was known in the States. The KPZ-70 never went into service, but I've imagined what it might have looked like if had.
I've added a few parts from the spares box such as the tools on the rear, and scratch built a few items like the headlight guards and the racks on the glacis to hold the snow grousers.
The kit is painted in acrylics and weathered in acrylics, oils and pastels. There's still some weathering to do around the tracks and hull sides, but apart from that the model is largely finished. If all goes to plan she'll eventually find her way onto a diorama with a knocked out Soviet T-64.
I hope you enjoy taking a look, and of course any suggestions for improvement are welcome.
Happy modelling.
Steve

Looks good, Steve, though you most likely get better feedback with more pics and posting it in the Constructive forum.

Hi Steve,
a diorama with a knocked out Soviet T-64
Make it an NVA (Nationale Volksarmee) T-64: Bundeswehr vs Nationale Volksarmee!
