Just thought I would say hi to one and all now I have done the deed and joined the site. After watching from the sidelines and seeing so many detailed and exceptional models,be it armour, aircraft or ships, I wanted to add some praise to the talented artisans who make these models seem to jump off the page into reality.....( also, I am sat here on duty, and thought this would be a good time to do it lol )

Hi Guys and thanks for the welcome.
You have caught me while I am still here sat on duty lol...
Being in the army, and having worked for most of my service on MBT's and CVRT's, I have a soft spot for armour, mainly WW2 German, with the occasional American piece added to the list.
I started many moons ago ( many many many moons ago ) on Airfix, and have been doing bits and pieces ever since, and them progressed with Tamiya and Dragon and others from the vast model range available today.
I really joined to give some praise to the huge amount of skilled modellers I have been watching in awe during various builds over the last few years, some of the models are beyond words.
Once I have taken some brave tablets, I may even attempt to finish off a few builds and post some stuff myself...
