Need advise/recommendations, I have never built anything that floats and many moons ago at telford nationals there was a display of 3 or 4 ships on one of the IPMS group stands one of those ships was about 9" long and armed with missiles down the side any ideas?
I know i am being a bit vague but im interested in building a missile or spy? ship. Sorry if im wasting your time but i normally build 35th.

I mostly build 1/35th scale armor but occasionally drift to a ship kit. You have a lot to choose from these days.

I don't know if you have seen the 1/35th scale Tamiya vietnam river patrol boat. That may satisfy your interest in building something that floats.

Trumpeter has a neat 1/72nd LCAC. I have that in my stash and hope to build it later this year.

I also have a couple of the Dragon US Navy Littoral combat ships in my stash too. They are neat, simple kits.

You will just have to decide what interests you. Your inquiry is really very vague.
