I'm about to weather a Bradley serving in Baghdad, but don't really know what color to use to replicate accumulated sand on the vehicle. Does anyone have a paint or pigment mix suggestion, or some photo reference to get me started?

It was only sand until the few and far between rainstorms hit , then it became real thick mud that would stick to anything and then dry cement like , hard and a pain to clean up .
