Hi I was wondering if anyone had a spare set or part set of decals for this kit
Italeri 6389 M4 Sherman US Marines.
My Granddaughter picked it up at a jumble sale, no decals or gun.
Bought her the gun, had a go at casting one, partial success but wasn't ok when I cleaned it up.
All my stash of spares decals etc were given away to a chap who refuses to help. Great eh?
So could someone in the UK help. I can pay postage if that helps. All The best Alfie

Confusing...
So you bought her the gun, but had to cast it aswell? Begs the question, why?
Also, if I have the decals, give them to you then later ask for them back, will you provide or will i write "great yeah?"

As it is for your daughter will generic US marking do? If so I will have a look, But US WW2 armour is not something I have a lot of. It is a little harder to do, but you could cut yourself some masks.

Firstly I cast one in resin but it warped when I cleaned it up. Then I bought her one, but the cost of the decals are ,for an eight year old expensive. So I've asked fellow modellers to help. I have been model making for over fifty years but due to a lung disease had to give it up. I gave all my spares ,decals to a chap ,who when I asked for some back just blanked me. Martin I think you miss the point. I asked for one set of decals from him. One set ,after giving him fifty years worth of decals ,spare parts and kits. So yes I do say great eh. Why because when I was building kits regularly I sent kits around the world for fellow modellers, never charged and if they could help me they did. Is still count many of them as pals. If you think this is wrong to ask someone if they can help by giving a few sodding decals then so be.
