Hey,
I see the last post in this forum was 09. I was going to ask if anyone still uses it but i yhink i have my answer.
Maybe we could reinject a bit of live into it by suggesting good dealers or online stores.
Personally ive been looking around but it seems any bargains i find outside Oz are zapped by shipping.
But i did hapoen across a lical site by chance, mighty ape. (No affiliation) Worth a go, i was looking for dragons desert rats got them for $14 plus 4.99 shipping, beauty of that was a $10 discount for 2nd order.si pucked up the vallejo IJA paint set.for $24 includinb shipping.
paints seem slightly cheaper and shipping is good.
so might be worth a look, but id love to hear of other bargains here for us in Oz.
Cheers
Marty

Agreed don't see much in this section.
To the OP: Really depends what you're after ..
Signing up to date to the email lists is always a good thing to see what specials come through. Locally BNA model World, Frontline Hobbies and Metro Hobbies all have good deals on and off. Also free shipping when you spend over $150 odd.
We are also in a bad place with our dollar vs the USD.
A lot seem to also order from hobby easy and HLJ.

Yep BNA seem to be my stalwart at the moment, very happy with them. Frontline im looking at from a figures point of view, seems to be the best range in Oz im thinking. But yet to order from them. Its about to happen but need to lay low for a while after sending the missus to the post office daily, she isnt happy! (The joys of fifo!)

They also give you credits from what you buy which is handy not sure if they do special orders or get in things you're chasing never tried to ask them before.
Seems to be a lot of new guys in eBay from Hong Kong and Korea that offer good pricing to Oz with free postage?
Ha I know what you mean. But I just tell the post office when I am away and when I'll be back to pick stuff up

G'day!..
BNA is my favorite but i like also Metro Hobbies, free shipping for order over $49 and the customer service is really good, the only issue is the website, not enough picture of the items.

I use BNA or Freetime Hobbies for what I want. Not much in the way of AM here in Brisbane.

Hi guys
Haven't bought much for a long long while but have been using luckymodel for the few recent purchases
Have a decent backlog of planes and scifi to get through
Must find this Hobby HQ that was mentioned in a previous post

I spoke with Bill a week or so ago, he has been trying to sell Hobby HQ as a business but hasn't had any serious offers. He said he will be running the stocks down but he has a lot of stock so I'm sure he will be there for a while yet.
Cheers, D
