The Hobby shope near me closed down over the summer while I was away so now I have to buy my models on the web. I have done a few tanks, so I am trying to find a good place to buy aircraft models. Any suggestions?

Hi
I'm from Italy and we don't have the big assortment you have in Usa, that's why I had to start looking online and buy online...
best prices?
Without doubts on Ebay!
Last model I purchased was $9.00 + $14 shipping, while most online stores and magazine ads were listing it for $33.00 (plus shipping)

ciao

www.alpenflage-hobbies.com, www.greatmodels.com, www.hometown-hobbies.com, www.internet-hobbies.com

not sure if all the URL's are correct.. but those are people I've bought off with no complaints.. Model Expo is another one to look at when they have sales.. but they don't have a lot to choose from... I've also been curious to use Military Hobbies.. but haven't taken the plunge with them yet..

Just a thought, but have you tried clicking on the advertisement banners at the top of the page? Most tend to lean towards the armor side, but they may still sell aircraft models. Also at the bottom of our home page, there is a category called "shopping" that has various online stores listed.

yeah i did try the adds and military hobbies but the best i have found so far is hobbylinc.com. I thought the shopping link was only for memorabilia though so i never checked for models there.
