Have you guys seen this:
Full rounds and spent rounds in 1/35... I used to scratchbuild those using heated sprue, but was never really satisfied with the end result. These babies look amazing... Read the review at PMMS:

The price is a bit stiff......But considering the size.....I guess it's not too bad....

I picked up a set of the spent rounds. Small, but an amazing little detail to add to my kit.

I have a set - simply outrageous! I bought it because I was curious - these are wild. It's a fun detail to add to a model if you really want to show off...

I really want to know how they machine those things. .50 inches scales out to about .014 inches in diameter. Turning that and drilling the hole in the end for the spent shell casing would have to a real pain.

Just remember to dirty up the spent catridges. I remember what they looked like after falling out my .50 cals. They get scratched and covered in powder residue from inside teh breech.
Also, even new ammunition is not as bright as shown in the photos. I recommend a coat of clear flat for the new, unfired rounds.
May have to figure out how to reproduce as resin copies

Man, they look great but, at my age, they'll sure tax the old eyeballs. Might have to turn the optivisors up a notch.

The quality of the rounds are astounding. What impressed me even more was I placed the order on Dec 30th and received them on Jan 2nd! With the holidays in there I was very impressed.

They are made by Mission Models. You can get them from their website:
http://www.missionmodels.com/index2.htm Or you can order them from Great Models as well:
http://www.greatmodels.com/ I ordered mine directly from them. At first I was a little concerned that they didn't have an online shopping cart. I went ahead and called my order in and as I said before, the order was placed on Dec 30th and received on Jan 2nd.

Hi. Just curious here if anybody has tried to make the 'belts' for these things. The spent brass laying around would be A-okay, much better than the old stretched spure method, but how would it be, really, to make those belts? Anybody tried it yet? And, if so, did you get your eyes, not to mention your nerves, back straight and on course? Ha, ha!
Take care, Sgirty #:-)

Although I have not personally tried it yet, if you look at the review on Perth Military Modelling, it looks like it isn't real tough.

They all come with the belt links. Even the empty rounds.

And now a little mathematical problem :
-knowing the price of these sets
-knowing that each set has 25 rounds
How much would an average modeler have to pay to represent this :

Good pic Frenchy... I was thinking of something simmilar; the price is unfortunately way too steep for just 25 rounds.
