Lucky you Tanker25. :-) I spied a 1/35 Le Clerc at STC Filinvest Mall, Alabang, for just P550. But this was, oh, last year pa, in November. I can call them up and ask if it's available and, if you are willing to, I can purchase it on your behalf, then we meet somewhere neutral, then do the exchange. Assuming, of course, if it's available. It's by Mini-Hobby IIRC. Looks ok to me when I inspected it. I'll post an update tomorrow afternoon on this thread when I do contact them by phone. With that in mind, I reckon other STC branches closer to you might have it as well. Try the Greenhills branch (check the Stores thread).
However, assuming it isn't available, your next best choice is a 1/72 kit by Revell Germany, available at JMN for P330 IIRC. Yep, not 1/35 like what you're looking for, but it's a Le Clerc nonetheless. And Revell Germany does excellent 1/72 armor kits.

Yes, STC has a branch at Cubao. 2 actually, according to my card/directory.
STC Rustans Cubao - 437-9073
STC Ali Mall Cubao - 912-0923
Here's there branch at Virramall:
STC Virramall - 721-5332, 2nd flr., Dau Lane, Virramall
I forgot what brand exactly, but reading your similar thread at the Armor Talk forum, I reckon the Le Clerc kit is a rebox of the Heller kit (which they say isn't good). Still, better something than nothing.
As for scale and being a newbie, for me a newbie would be quite comfortable in 1/72 as opposed to 1/35, since the latter scale is quite large, lots of parts, sometimes more expensive (not really), etc. etc. whereas 1/72 is smaller, easier on the wallet (not really also hehehe) and looks very nice on the desk as a paper weight (which role my current 1/72 Challenger I Mk. 3 is performing flawlessly hehehe)

Hi Tanker 25,
Don't waste your money on the 1/35th scale Le Clerc tha is available at STC. it's a really bad kit and looks very toy-like. You better get the Revell 1/72 Le Clerc, I bought one and its is a very good build. Details and scale is nice . You just have to add a little more detail on the barrel housing. Anyway, GI is right about 1/72 being more manageable (not necessarily cheaper) in the wallet. The quality of Revell AG is very good and worth every centavo.
