Hello Guys,
I wish to update you on club activities.
1) A warm welcome to LaTtex who formalized his membership in our meeting of Sunday, January 11, 2004.
2) Clark Air Show: IPMS Philippines has been invited to exhibit models at the Clark Air Show on February 6 - 8, 2004. Several members & officers will be representing the Club on Saturday, February 7, 2004. Meeting place is UP Diliman, College of Fine Arts and we take off from there. You are all welcome to join us. Please contact Mr. Hunter or El Jefe (in the website) for more details.
3) Due to the above activity, the February monthly meeting will be moved to the 3rd Sunday, February 15, 2004. Venue of the meeting is still at UP Fine Arts. Hope to see you there.
4) The "British Subjects" Internal Contest will be moved from March 14 to March 21, also a Sunday. The extra week will give participants extra time to detail their entries in their quest to win their respective categories.
5) The change in the March meeting & contest date will also enable a visiting "kababayan" from UK to attend the affair. "Klinger" is our latest overseas member. The timing of the British contest is coincidental, though. Hope the Armorama guys can also join us so you can see the entries & help us welcome "Klinger".

As usual, I'm a "No Joy" due to my study load. However, the British contest looks very enticing. Jives well with the Commonwealth campaign of Armorama currently running.
But alas, more pressing areas of concern must be attended first.
Maybe in April or May, I can drop by and formalize my membership (hopefully by then, tapos ko na din ang iilang projects which I would bring, but I seriously doubt it).

Yup. Actually a serious issue in the internal competition is about Cars, kasi hindi gaanong karami ang gumagawa ng cars sa IPMS-BAC. They don't know whether to open the category or not.
If you join the IPMS, and the competition, and give 2 cars of british origin as entries, I think the issue is settled and the category can be opened :-)

hay its been a long time since my last post!! SOOOO BUSY!!! cant even touch my models....too tired after coming home from my OJT

mem fee po sa IPMS is 250 right? Tuloy na tuloy na po ba sa Feb. 15? If it is, im planning to schedule my vac. leave para makapunta ako. One more thing, may ID po ba yung mga member? pag wala ok lang. Importante marami akong matututunan. Of course i would like to meet all of the gurus!

With the credit coop the club will purchase a kit, book or modeling supplies/tools for you payable on a 3-month term. Wala kaming ID because some members thought this wasnt important and additional cost lang. Hope to see you there!
