Can to pieces be fused with Tamiya Extra Thin, even that they have a layer of primer and one of color?

Tamiya extra thin will soak through paints, but your best bet for getting a good bond is to scrape or sand the paint off the surfaces to be glued since it will prevent the styrene from bonding properly after the glue evaporates.
