Each year we post the Modeler's Guide to the AMPS Contest Rules on the Internet. We do this to help modelers prepare their entries for competition at our annual International Convention. This guide has grown to the point that we are now posting it on our web-site under Shows & Conventions at http://www.amps-armor.org/ampssite/Documents/ContestRules/ModelersGuidetoContestRules.pdf.

There are a couple of items modelers should consider as they put together their entries for this event. First, all competition entrants must be AMPS members in good standing. If you are not an AMPS member or need to renew your membership you can do so through the AMPS web-site: http://www.amps-armor.org/ampssite/membership.aspx. In addition, you can join or renew you membership through our combination show entry/membership special on the show portion of the AMPS web-site. Second, it’s been three years since AMPS held its International Convention in Auburn, IN. During this time many modelers have built a number of very fine entries for this event. However, some of these entries have been on the shelves for a while and accumulated some natural weathering (dust, cobwebs, etc.). This natural weathering can detract from what would otherwise be a really great entry so please take some time to remove this natural weathering from your models before the show.

Please take some time to review this guide as you get ready for Auburn, IN and "First in the Line."

Mike, the last period in both links needs to be removed. They're not working, as is.
