I tried out Bombay brown ink, for a wash on a yellow vehicle. You don't need much and the results are excellent, especially for the price. No need for a gloss cote. Highly recommended.

They have solvent and acrylic inks.

Looked it up on line , nice selection of colors . You use it it for pin washes ?

I tried it as a pin wash and as a filter. The filter was much easier to apply, with exceptional results. Although it claims that it does not spread, it does. Still works well, for a pin wash. And, if applied over a gloss cote, it can be cleaned up with water.
