has anyone used heat shrink tubing as a raw material source for rubber parts?
if so, over time does it tend to shrink just from light or air drying?
this seems ideal for fan belts, skirting, and other thin & flexible components.
thanks

It take a concerted effort to get most of it to actually shrink. I'd think short of being in a store window under a magnifying glass with perfect sunlight it'll be fine.
