When I got the 14/0 thread , it really isnt any different than the 8/0, they look about the same. I have been reading David Griffiths book on ship modeling and he talked about Caenis 20 Denier thread as being very fine. I bought some and it is very fine. He also talked about using thread from a nylon cord that you litteraly take apart. I had a cord at work probably 1/2 inch in diameter and when pulling just one strand out it is so fine you can barely see it. He says he uses these for signal haylards. Interesting book .
