Anyone out there having problems with Lucky Model? I have ordered armour kits from them that were identified as in stock on their website. When I have checked on the order the kits were identified as being "fully reserved" for shipment. I wait and nothing happens, no shipment. I e-mail them and they reply with nonsense answers that the items are pre-orders. Well the kits that I have ordered have been around awhile and are not new to the market. Further e-mails only lead to convoluted responses. This is not the first time this has happened to me. Anyone else with bad experiences with these folks.

Are they slow? Yes
Do they always send what I wanted? Yes, eventually.

Their system is better than it used to be, as far as the "in stock", "available", etc, but it's not updated in real time, so sometimes you just have to deal with long lead times. If you want something NOW, don't use Lucky.

Never had an issue with Lucky Model, shipment is sometimes slow, but have always got what I ordered.

I've ordered from them , like they say sometimes they are slow but they always come through . It's just that some thing never seem to be in stock , like voyager , you just have to order it and wait . But it's free shipping . My complain is the U.S. customs , they seem to have opened everything kit I've ordered and they treat them real rought I dread that custom sticker .

Never had a problem with Lucky Model, and the couple of times I've had to contact, communication has been easy.

I have ordered several times from them, my only issue was for an item not shipped (was on backorder), after one month I contacted them and easily changed the order for a different item. A refund was offered should I have wanted it so for me the service is fine.

Cheers,

Carlos

I just got an order form them including something that was supposedly on Backorder..... I was confused when it said it was shipped, but low and behold it was in the box.

Well, we have a slow down on the West coast unloading containers and that may have something to do with the delivery. I have never had a problem with Lucky Models...fine group

I just got the AFV club schwimwagen, I'm on the east coast , and I got in seven days . I believe lucky models uses DHL to ship so everything is sent by air . By the way it's on sale right now , cheaper than you can find on eBay .
