A Hemi doesn't need fancy paint and decals Richard. Realistically, whenever a Hemi blows by you it's going so fast it looks like a blur anyways.

That Camaro on the other hand......well you'll need all of your building tricks and tips as well as some serious smoke and mirror digital effects to make it look decent. That old joke about putting lipstick on a pig comes to mind.

Because they are typically driven by little old ladies running late for bingo night or a stocktake sale at the local haberdashery, the brakes have failed and the throttle jammed wide open!

Don't listen to the irrational rantings of a jealous man Richard, you are wise and clever and heading down the righteous path, carry on!

Looking forward to progress pics.

Cheers, D

Lucky for you I don't know what a "stocktake sale" or "haberdashery" are. Probably some dark pagan ritual of some sort.

Anyway, carry on Richard! Looking forward to seeing at least ONE of your builds progress.

Obviously D is very confused, he's buying his kits at a men's clothing store.

A stocktake sale is where they sell off all of the unwanted stock (mostly Hemi with a few Ford mixed in) that they are unable to move at normal prices.

Haberdashery is a specialist factory where they use the pretty floral dressmaking materials to make the roof linings and seat covers for Chrysler and Dodge. It comes from the Latin "Haber" meaning dubious and "Dasher" meaning quality.

Being our resident Mopar expert, I thought you would have known these things!

I'm going for a beer, it's 42 degrees Celcius here today and my brain is melting.

🍻, D

Yes, thank you for educating me on the customs of downunderville.

I have it on good authority that Chevrolet is in fact a conglomeration of three words:

CHEV- from the poigo-poigo Indian language meaning "man who dresses like a woman"

RO- from ancient Mesopotamia meaning "while at the same time"

LET- from the desert nomads of the Aussie wilderness which means basically "chasing sheep to the edge of a cliff in hopes of acquiring a special friend"

So in essence Chevrolet means "Cross dressers who desire sheep as companions".

Also, me thinks you are running a fever Mr. D. Why else would your brain be melting in the middle of winter?

Chev is going well but the Dodge has an oil leak!:-

I see that I need to by cat litter for this build!
