I was planning on getting there about 0930 also. Unsure of the duration question though. This is the first model show I've attended so it's all new for me. They say on the IPMS Richmond site that there will be lots of vendor tables. Do they sale stuff and is it moderately priced or what? I will be taking the digicam to take pictures to show everyone.

Guys,
Contest registration ends a 1300hrs, after that is judging, approx 2 hours. After judging the awards are announced. The contest will probably end around 1700 hrs.The vendors usually start packing around 1600hrs. There are usually plenty of bargains. I believe APC Hobbies will be there. He usually starts discounting before he packs up. There will be general announcements as to which dealer is giving end of show discounts. Hope to see ya'll there. I should be at the general admissions table in the front. Yes, all of the staff will have either chapter badges, chapter shirts or name tags.

I have posted some pics of the IPMS Richmond show. Bryan (Tin_Can) will also be uploading...er...a few.
It was great. And I got out only spending $6 bucks. The vendors hated me in other words. hehe
